2024 impact report

In September 2024, Bettering Belize hosted its inaugural community gathering in Carmelita, Belize, at the Bill Jones Outdoor Community Center. The event was filled with engaging activities, including painting, jewelry making, water balloon tosses, and face painting, designed to bring the community together and explore enrichment opportunities.

Attendees enjoyed healthy snack options and had the chance to win exciting prizes, making the day both fun and rewarding. The event welcomed approximately 40 students and their guardians, creating a vibrant and lively atmosphere.

We are incredibly grateful for the support of the local community school and the enthusiastic participation of the community. This gathering was just the beginning, and we look forward to continuing our mission to empower and uplift the children of Belize.
